Wyatt's World

This past Saturday we went to a fishing derby with my Mom and Dad, better known as Mimi and Gramps. He was so cute sitting in his little chair holding the fishing pole. He didn't sit still for long periods of time so Gramps took over the fishing. Gramps finally caught one so we all thought Wyatt would be excited. WRONG!! Wyatt was scared. We were lucky he didn't jump out of Everett's arm during the picture. We all had a really good day. We even got to ride on hay bales on a trailer in the rain.

He loves getting in his Daddy's chair with his pillow and blanket to read his books. That night he was reading about Trains and Trucks. (he doesn't know there are books with other subjects) He is wearing a Toby tatoo(from Thomas and Friends). He gets a new tatoo about once a week. He loves showing it to everyone when we go to town.

He loves Thomas so much we got him a Thomas cake for his 2nd birthday. I must have deleted the picture of him with his cake, or it is on his Mimi's camera. He had a really good birthday. we had a small group of family come to Newkirk to help celebrate the day. You can tell how special he is to so many people.

Wyatt loves trains or as he calls them Choo Choos. You can see in the first picture he is saying choo choo. That is exactly how he looks the 100 times a day he say choo choo. He absolutely love Thomas the Train. I can't tell you how many times we turn on Thomas. It is the first thing he asks for of a morning after milk. This was the centennial train at the Oklahoma City Zoo. We rode it for about 15 minutes and were able to see several animals including 3 giraffes.

It wouldn't be a post if we didn't include one of Wyatt with food on his face. I can't even remember what it was.

When Everett was planting his garden Wyatt decided to help. He took the seed packets and "planted" them in the ground. Amazingly, we have vegetables where he "planted" things. You can tell this picture was taken a while ago. He is wearing pants and his shoes are really white. If you have seen his shoes lately you know they don't look like that.

I apologize for the 3 month absence of new Wyatt pictures. I don't really have excuces, except we haven't taken many photos and we have been really busy. Wyatt is asleep now, so I am taking over posting duties for today. I figured I better post some pictures tonight before we get to busy packing for our new move. We our moving to Norman the first of August. We are excited! It will be a big change for all of us. Everett will be the Associate pastor of youth at 1st Pres in Norman, I will probably be going back to work, at least part-time. Wyatt will be getting used to daycare and interacting with kids his own age on a daily basis. We will be living in a much smaller house, which we are looking forward to. This one is too hard to keep clean. Once we move and get settled, Wyatt or I will post pictures of our new house and church.
