HABEE HALLOWEEN

Monday, October 30, 2006

I have started eating rice cereal with a spoon. I love helping Mommy and Daddy with getting the spoon to my mouth. Sometimes I even try and get the bowl and pour the whole thing in my mouth instead of taking one bite after another. As you can see a lot of it ends up on face, but that is getting a lot better. I really think I am getting the hang of this eating with a spoon business, but still require a big bottle first. They have tried to fool me, but it doesn't work.

1, 2, 3 Roll Over!!! I can roll over from my tummy to my back, but haven't yet figured out how to roll from my back to my tummy. I do like trying to pull my socks off though, and teasing Mom and Dad that I am about to roll over, so they start getting excited.

I am still loving my Excersaucer. Daddy just had to raise it today because I was standing flat footed, and you are supposed to be on your tippy toes. I usually try and play with several of the toys at the same time, stretching myself as far as I can stretch.

Papa Miller came to visit us for about 7 days. He came all the way from Summerville, SC. After he leaves Newkirk, he is flying to Hemet, CA to see my two cousins, Michaela and Sheldon. We all had a really good time together. Papa Miller took me for many walks around the house and "horsey" rides on his knees. Mommy was amazed, but the whole time Papa was here I never spit up on him like I do Mom and Dad. I will probably be a lot bigger the next time I get to see my Papa. I will miss him alot. Once I start talking I will talk to him on the phone though.

A week before my 4 month birthday, Mommy, Daddy and Donna and I went to the clinic in Cherokee so I could get weighed. As of Sept 29th, I weighed 15.8 pounds. I don't know how long I am, but I know I am longer than Mommy and Daddy thought I would be. We don't go back to the doctor until mid November, so I won't have any more measurements until then, unless I have to go to the doctor for another reason besides a well baby check up.

I have just started using my nifty exesaucer. I am still a little small for it, but I just spend a few minutes a day in it. I love playing with all of the little toys. There is a carousel that plays music that I like to spin around. As you can see I like sticking the Green Elephant in my mouth. But of course I like sticking everything in my mouth right now. I try to have my whole hand or at least a couple of fingers in it at all times, unless I have my pacifier in. I am a slobbering mess. I go through lots of bibs and clothes in a week.

This is me at 4 months old. I am learning something new, which is becoming my new favorite thing!!! I lay on a blanket or my changing table and Mommy and Daddy go to sit me up, but instead I stand. Can you believe it, I can actually STAND!! I get a little wobbly sometimes, but they are always right there with me. Before too long I will be sitting and standing on my very own.

These were taken by mommy when I was just 3 months old. I apologize for it taking her so long to put these on my blog. I tend to keep her pretty busy during the day, and we have family time after Daddy gets off work. For those of you who don't know, the above picture is me sitting in my Bumbo seat. A special foam seat that allows me to sit up like a big boy. The other one is just me playing with Froggie.

For Daddy's 28th birthday all he wanted was to ride horses. The three of us went to the Scott's house, friends of ours, to ride Gumby and Bess. I was in the house with Mallory, my new friend while they rode. They both seemed to really enjoy riding, especially Daddy.
