Wyatt's World

Wyatt loves his table from Mimi and Gramps. We had Karey from the Youth Group come and work some today in the front yard and he took it up front to show her. As soon as he got his books from Papa Miller and Jeanette he took them out to his table and started coloring and reading about Cars, what else.

Wyatt was enjoying his gifts from us. We got him a T-ball stand with glove and ball. It was so cute he kept trying to throw the ball with his glove hand. I am sure he will get it before too long.

This was Wyatt opening presents on his actual birthday. He couldn't believe he got to open more presents. I think he would open them every day if he could. He was confused at first when he opened a box of popcicles. He doesn't know yet you never get what is on the box.

Just a couple of pictures from Wyatt's actual birthday party. He helped his Mimi cut the whole cake. She joked that he would make a good groom some day. Wyatt had a blast for his 3rd birthday. One week later he is still talking about Mimi and Gramps and all his friends coming to his house for his party.

Should be an 2010 Anniversary present!!!!!! We just went to the doctor today. Everything is going really good this time around. I am just really really tired. It is harder with an almost 3 year old running around.

This is what 2 boys look like when Unc is cutting down a tree in our new backyard. Everett thought Wyatt was going in for good, but he just needed to get his sun glasses like his Daddy.

Wyatt finally agreed to a haircut. His dad got to decide how it was cut this time. He finally won, he said. Everett always wanted it to be cut shorter than I wanted, so I usually won out, but not this time. He sat on my lap the whole time and was very good. Afterward we went to Target and bought him some big boy undies. He kept telling us he wanted underwear. He has yet to go potty in the toilet, but we are hoping the big boy undies is the incentive he needs.

This is what 3 days of no school due to ice starts to look like. Take a look at his over grown hair. In the pictures in the last post you will notice it is no longer shaggy.

Wyatt thought it would be fun to hide in the dryer. It was his load of clothes so he fit right in.

Our friends from Newkirk came to visit us over MLK day. Theresa brought Dallin and Lilly with her. The day was so much fun. Wyatt is showing Miss Dallin how to paint. She caught on quick and loved it, especially the blue paint.

These were taken from our quick trip to Frisco and Dallas to see some friends. He got to play on a church playground for reward for sitting in the car for 3 hours. Overall he was a pretty good traveler this holiday season. Thanks to portable DVD players and The Backyardigans.

He is all boy. He loves his rough play. I think his Dad got the brunt of it. Acutally it was probably Mimi but she didn't make the pictures.

Wyatt loves his books. He loves reading standing up or in his bed. Every night Everett puts him to bed and they read several books with his flashlight. He thinks you need a flashlight to read even when it is night night time. He was lucky to get new "Monkey George" books and children's Bible books for Christmas. He thinks that Baby Jesus is in every book though. It is so cute.

Mimi got these silicone bowls for him to play with when he was a baby. He absoutley loves them. Christmas weekend he made everyone wear them as hats. Luckily Wyatt was the only one that got a picture with them on.

Who knows who he was talking too, but he was sure having an animated conversation.

He loves the "house" that Mimi and Gramps got him. He spent the weekend making everyone sit in there while he played somewhere else. He thinks the tools need to stay in the house all the time. At home he has a warm blanket for the floor and his chair so he can watch his movies.

Wyatt enjoyed opening all his presents. He even got to help everyone else open theirs. As I put this up he is telling me that we was opening his presents. He wishes there were more.

Wyatt's Unc and P (Uncle Art & Aunt Pam) got him some Thomas track and trains. He has been playing with them non-stop since Christmas morning. He sets up the track almost all by himselft and plays with it for about 5 minutes. He then moves the track to another room and starts the process all over again.

He was laughing at me falling down. I didn't find it very funny, but he sure did.

This is the robe Wyatt got for Christmas. Mommy and Daddy wear their robes a lot and he was asking where his was, so we took care of it. Now he wears it all the time.

He was putting the cookies and milk out for Santa. Santa ended up only getting about half of what Wyatt put out. Nothing is better than chocolate chip cookies at 10:30 at night

Santa got Wyatt an easel for Christmas, and his Auntie April got all the stuff to go with it. He made two beautiful paintings Christmas morning. He loves using the chalk board and the dry erase board. We try and have him wear his apron when he is painting, I don't quite trust the washable paint.

Wyatt got ahold of the camera. He must love his nose. He has learned to say cheese, but then he adds ham.
